Because Washington Square is a small, established community within a quaint village setting. Traditional values of respect for individual privacy are balanced perfectly with a genuine, caring and neighborly attitude. It’s easy to make new and lasting friends and enjoy a full social calendar of activities.
As an affordable and practical alternative to home ownership, prospective residents are impressed with the many amenities and conveniences offered at Washington Square.
There are several charming and distinctive apartment floor plans from which to choose that may include a patio and small private garden, a sunny bay window, or balcony. Each apartment has a fully-equipped kitchen, and is wired for cable TV.
And, although walking into the village and strolling through the nearby park is a popular activity in good weather, a bus is provided by Washington Square for transportation when needed. Parking is available for those who own cars.
A full-course evening meal is provided every day in the cheerful main dining room where residents and guests are greeted with fine china and crisp table linens. Our meals are always served by a trained, courteous staff composed primarily of high school students. We are proud of our long tradition of hiring students from the local high schools to serve in the food services department. In fact, the Washington Square Scholarship Fund was founded in 1991 and is maintained by the folks at Washington Square as an expression of their appreciation for the efforts made by our young staff.
